The Jack Brause Library maintains a closed-stack print collection, divided into Main and Reference sections, described below. All items in the collection can be found by searching the NYU Libraries catalog. Links to e-versions, when available, will be found in the catalog records.
The Main Collection at the Jack Brause Library contains books that active students, faculty and staff can check out for extended loans. This collection covers real estate-related topics like development, finance, construction, sustainability, housing policy, urban policy, and more.
Users can request materials from library staff during open reference desk hours, or place pickup requests directly via links in the catalog records for main collection titles. Books will be placed in the contactless lockers found in the library study space, accessible during extended study hours.
The Reference Collection within the Jack Brause Library contains a number of specialized real estate publications and directories, many popular textbooks, and a large collection of journals and newspapers. Many of these titles are also available electronically, and links can be found to the e-versions of these publications in the appropriate catalog records.
