Includes quarterly updated trends and forecasts of rent, vacancy, and inventory for apartment, office, retail, warehouse, R&D, and additional sectors in up to 275 US metropolitan areas and more than 6,300 markets and segments. Provides financial information and data on alternative asset markets worldwide. NYU's subscription includes private equity and venture capital, private debt, real estate, hedge funds, infrastructure, sustainability/ESG, and Preqin's Insight+ analysis. Other modules are not available at this time.
Users may request large data downloads (that require delivery via a custom Preqin link) via Preqin's live chat. Preqin's private equity and venture capital data is also accessible via WRDS.

Dewey is an academic research data platform that provides access to third-party quantitative and geospatial datasets across a variety of categories including behavioral economics, corporate finance, marketing, public policy, real estate, urban planning, weather, workforce management. Dewey’s platform allows any user to create an account to view summaries of the data available and download samples. To access NYU’s subscription data, register at https://app.deweydata.io/ using your NYU email (NetID@nyu.edu). A Dewey administrator will upgrade your account with the NYU subscription and send you an email notification to alert you of the change to your account. Upgrades may take up to 48 hours.

PropertyShark report access

PropertyShark is a platform for finding property reports, sales info, comparable sales, and limited listings, for New York City, with additional limited coverage in other US markets.

Library staff are able to facilitate mediated access to reports from PropertyShark for currently enrolled students and faculty upon request. Students should fill out the request form or email midtown.library@nyu.edu with questions.

Please note: due to access limits and substantial demand, students are able to request up to 10 property reports per semester.
