Hack Dibner is a design contest for the Fall 2021 semester hosted by NYU Tandon's Bern Dibner Library. Participants will be challenged to develop and present an idea that uses technology to improve user experience at Dibner, or within the greater NYU Libraries system.
As teams begin their Hack Dibner projects, it's helpful to think about how to stay organized and on target for the final written proposal and pitch. Dibner Library Director Sam Putnam will host Hack Dibner workshop #1 on project management. In addition to providing information that will help you in the competition, remember that for each workshop a member of your team attends, your team will get 1 bonus point.
Friday, October 15 at 3:00 pm. Zoom link: https://nyu.zoom.us/j/
Dr. Azure Stewart, CLIR postdoctoral fellow at Dibner Library, will lead this workshop on how to study spaces. What methods and resources can you use to understand a space, such as a library, that patrons and staff inhabit? In addition to providing information that will help you in the competition, remember that for each workshop a member of your team attends, your team will get 1 bonus point.
