Note: Items requested from NYU Bobst may take up to two weeks to arrive. You will receive an email notification when items are ready to pick up from the information desk.
Scanning requests take 24-48 hours to be sent to your email. Note: Due to copyright restrictions, scanning requests may only include 1-2 chapters or 15% of the total work.
To place a scan request, complete the following steps:

Click on the 'Get From Other Institutions' box:
Complete the form with as many details as you can provide. Include a comment if you need a scan of the bibliography. Click on the 'Send Digitization Request':

Click 'Request From Partner Libraries' under the 'How to Get It' section:
The link will take you to an auto-populated Interlibrary Loan screen. Confirm the book information is accurate, then click on 'submit request':
You may also request unavailable items directly in EZBorrow or Interlibrary Loan. EZBorrow is a faster service, but Interlibrary Loan is slower because it does not include NYU's partners in the New York area.
Note: EZBorrow and Interlibrary Loan requests may take two weeks or longer to arrive at NYUAD, depending on the lending institution's speed.
For example, NYU-NY has physical copies of the journal “Aging”, with issues 1-367 held offsite.
To place a request for a specific volume, you need to first click into the library location (NYU Bobst Offsite) to expand the list of volumes. You can then place the request on the volume you prefer.
