Survey Design Software

REDCap is a free, easy-to-use, web platform developed at Vanderbilt University for the following research purposes:

• Survey Development
• Data Capture
• Data Management

To request a REDCap account, users must have an NYU NetID and password, and be current members of the NYU Community (Faculty, Administration/Staff, Student) or a sponsored affiliate and be associated with an IRB reviewed research project.

• Users interested in accessing a one-week demo version of REDCap can do so through Vanderbilt's REDCap website.
• Users collecting data for non-research purposes, such as for course evaluations, or administrative surveys, should consider using Qualtrics instead of REDCap.
