Known Issues with VBL Databases

  • Bloomberg: "Login failed / error 730.1 / all terminals in session". Occurs when someone has not logged off after their booking is over. NYU is working to find solutions.
  • CB Insights: "Expiry" and "trial account" errors. Please email CB Insights at info@cbinsights.com from your @nyu.edu or @stern.nyu.edu account if you experience these issues.
  • Mergent Online: "Broker research reports" (analyst reports) for some major banks (Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, etc.) are not displaying in company view. The issue has been reported to the database provider. Access via the main "Investext" tab  (or use Thomson ONE) until Mergent fixes the error.
