NYU Business Library

The Business Library provides access to business resources, subscriptions, and services for individuals currently enrolled at or employed by New York University. We also provide a select collection of subscription resources for NYU alumni. (Captions and video transcript available.)

• Newly Admitted Students: Your library access will turn on automatically a day or two after you register for classes.
• Friends of Bobst Library: Join our philanthropic giving program after graduation to support NYU Libraries and gain perks such as facility access.
• Instructor Course Reserves: Our system is ready for requests. (See also: Instructor Guide to Course Reserves.) Students may also request that required readings be placed on reserve.
• Locker Book Pickup: New! Check out your books at the Bobst and Brause Libraries even when the desk is closed.

• 22 May 2023: New database: SDC Platinum: Includes data on mergers and acquisitions, global new issues (equity, bonds), corporate governance, corporate restructurings, VentureXpert (PE/VC), and global public finance.
• 8 May 2023: New database: Capital IQ: Includes data on public/private companies and powerful screening/charting tools.
• 28 March 2023: New database: The Real Deal: One of the preeminent US real estate industry news publications. For the time being, The Real Deal must be accessed while using the NYU VPN.
• 20 March 2023: New service: UltraViolet: An NYU-developed database where you can deposit scholarly materials and data for open access and long-term preservation. To deposit materials in UltraViolet, please use this form.
• 3 Feb 2023: Name change, new interface: Kantar Media's Ad$pender / Advertising Insights has been rebranded as Vivvix and the interface has been updated.
• 24 Oct 2022: Expanded access: NYU's C2ER Regional Economic Data Toolkit subscription now includes all modules and datasets: cost of living index, state incentives, state expenditures, economic diversity index.
• 6 Oct 2022: New access: Bloomberg.com is now easily accessible at the Bloomberg terminal using the BBG command.
• 4 Oct 2022: New database: Business of Fashion Professional, is a news source with coverage of the global fashion industry. Sign up with your @nyu.edu email address for access.
• 1 Sept 2022: New database: GrantForward, a funding opportunity database focused on academic researchers' needs. Sign up for an account using your @nyu.edu email address.
• 19 Aug 2022: Updated dataset: Most recent year (2021) added for "ReferenceUSA Historical Business Data (Entire USA)". Find it in the NYU Faculty Digital Archive (FDA). (Log in to view.)
• 11 April 2022: New database: ProQuest Asian & European Business Collection, provides access to business-focused academic journals, newspapers, newswires, and magazines for Asia and Europe.
• 17 March 2022: New content: NYU now subscribes to "fan premium" data content in Sports Business Research Network, which brings data granularity to the team level.
