Reserve a Library Study Room

News

Pitchbook account resets: All NYU Pitchbook accounts reset annually on August 1st, removing end-user access. To continue using Pitchbook, you must register again using your NYU email to confirm your eligibility for an account.
Instructor Course Reserves: Our system is ready for requests. (See also: Instructor Guide to Course Reserves.) Students may also request that required readings be placed on reserve.
Locker Book Pickup: New! Check out/return books at Bobst and Brause Libraries even when the desk is closed.

GoinGlobal: Job and Internship Database Training
Multiple dates: Learn how to use GoingGlobal to improve your job or internship search. It includes country and city guides, business etiquette advice, country-specific visa regulations (including H1B), job application/interview advice, and more. (Select "Training" in the top nav.)
Bloomberg Seminars
Multiple dates: Use the SMNR command after logging into the terminal to view and register for upcoming trainings organized by Bloomberg. Learn more about Bloomberg training resources here.

New Resources

5 Sept 2024: New interface: Factiva has updated its interface. Click on the "Switch Factiva" button to use the old interface.
20 Aug 2024: New interface: Emerging Markets Information Service (EMIS) has modernized its interface.
19 Aug 2024: New dataset: SEC Analytics Suite (must log in to view) is now available in WRDS. SEC Analytics Suite enables users to systematically parse SEC filings.
16 July 2024: New database: Dewey: Research data platform that provides access to quantitative and geospatial datasets across a variety of categories.
4 Jan 2024: New database: Moody's CRE: Provides in-depth commercial real estate property data and analytics. Find it on the Economics tab or Real Estate guide.
3 Oct 2023: New guide: Doing Business in the Middle East and North Africa.
22 Sept 2023: Updated dataset: Most recent year (2022) added for "ReferenceUSA Historical Business Data (Entire USA)". Find it in the NYU Faculty Digital Archive (FDA). (Must log in to view.)
29 Aug2023: New guide: Resources for Data Scholarship in Business & Economics.
11 Aug 2023: New functionality: The Business Library now has a limited number of Pitchbook accounts with advanced downloading capabilities for PhDs and tenured/tenure track faculty.
10 Aug 2023: New functionality: All NYU users now have access to the CapitalIQ Excel API plugin.
