Data Services Class Descriptions

Information, materials, and schedules for all currently offered Data Services classes.
This tutorial is recommended for those starting out with Data Services classes and provides a nice lead-in to computing activities developed in other tutorials. It teaches key skills needed to navigate file storage, use the command terminal as a beginner, manage research file storage and backup, understand the contents of software files, concepts of tidy data, and how computer file formats such as CSVs and JSON model data structures.
Software: None as prerequisites. Users can install free software as part of the tutorial using their own laptop.
