Data Services Class Descriptions

Information, materials, and schedules for all currently offered Data Services classes.
This workshop is designed to help researchers manage their digital research files. Topics include best practices in file naming and selection of file types, performing bulk transformations of files such as renaming, consolidating image files, and setting up a good working cloud environment.

Room description:

Some tutorials are held remotely and require NYU sign on to access, while others are held in person, without a remote component. Please note the correct modality and location of the tutorial when registering

  • Installing a cloud storage desktop client
  • Using project management systems
  • File naming, bulk renaming, and description
