NYU LibGuide Accessibility

A comprehensive resource for achieving digital accessibility best practice for NYU Libraries Research Guides.

Overview

Describe your Guide and your pages within a Guide!

Are your Guide and page titles and descriptions unique and clear? Do you have accurate and helpful metadata?

  • Descriptions give users an idea if the Guide might help them with their research.
  • It also improves search engine optimization (SEO) and discoverability.
  • Keep descriptions concise, no more than a couple of sentences.
